Campus Crusade for Christ International

In 1951 Bill and Vonette Bright founded Campus Crusade for Christ at the University of California Los Angeles. For within the college ranks they saw the leaders of the future and the unlimited potential possessed by these students to win the world for Jesus Christ. They saw as their purpose the glorification of God by helping to fulfill THE GREAT COMMISSION in this generation, in the power of the Holy Spirit, by WINNING, BUILDING, TRAINING AND SENDING college students. THE GREAT COMMISSION as stated in Matthew 28:18-20 reads:

Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, even to the very end of the age."

Korea Campus Crusade for Christ

Korea Campus Crusade for Christ was founded by Rev. Joon Gon Kim in 1958. It was the first overseas ministry of CCC International to be established. KCCC took the original strategy of CCC Int'l and focused its direction upon the college campuses in Korea.

KCCC in America

KCCC in America was established in 1982 by Yong Won Kang, a disciple of Rev. Joon Gon Kim. It began with a small group of students on three campuses, Columbia University, NYU and Juilliard. The sacrifice and dedication of these students has brought the ministry to where it stands now with KCCC ministries on campuses all over the United States, touching the lives of thousands of Korean-Americans of all generations. Beneath the overall strategy of winning, building, training and sending, KCCC strives to help second generation Korean-Americans firmly establish their identity, first as Christians and then as Korean-Americans, securing themselves in the knowledge and pride of their Korean heritage.
